My niece Sydney will be turning five in February, which means that in the fall she will be old enough to go to school. My brother and SIL have been tossing the idea of homeschooling around since she was born, and once their niece was signed up for cyber homeschooling, we thought for sure they would follow.

They aren't. They are selling their house and buying one in a better school district in preparation of sending her to school next fall.

I know it is their decision and they know what is best for her but I can't help but be sad about the whole thing.

Of course, I will put on a happy face and be excited for her, but deep down I anything but. Am I horrible aunt or what?!
